On both my visit to Bannerghatta, and to Turahalli, Galibore, and Ramnagara, I noticed a wide variety of butterflies flitting along in their various colours. Of course, the time of day (mid-morning) was not ideal to photograph them, as that is their nectar-gathering time and so they were most restless, and would hardly settle for more than a second

I could not photograph more than ten percent of the variety of butterflies that I saw, because at that time, they were at their most active.

One looks like the male common mormon, two is the lime butterfly and three looks like a faded crimson rose on its last legs - I had seen a similar one in BM Betta I think...
