Well, it's a beautiful video, thanks!

But...it's FAKE. You show me one village where a young man is allowed to push a young woman on a swing like that, with the flute playing in the background!!

I guess I could do an anthology of several "swing" songs in Indian movies...

Beautiful Melody! I have no idea what the whole song means...however I love Ilayaraja's songs...heard a lot of them in Telugu.

Wow! Swings...magical of all the places in one's home. I never had a swing at my parent's home and always wanted to get one, but like you said, space always was the issue. As a kid I remember how me and my cousins used to fight to use teh swing in my grandparent's house. :)

Here I go to the park whenever I get a chance and use the swing there...when there are no kids there. It is so relaxing and peaceful. Just makes me forget all tensions in my life. :)

I passed through a phase where swings induced acute nausea, but I think I am OK again now. I remember the childhood days when we were always looking for swings that could (without scoldings) be taken up their limit!

I have got over several things from my childhood days...but swings is something I probably can never get over. :)

Oy! Swings.. they're kinda a mixture of memories for me.. My neighbors used to have this BIG cast iron swing on their terrace.. You know.. the bulky ones on a iron frame.. We used to love playing on that.. swinging away all evening during playtime.. into the dusk, munching on guavas pilfered from the other neighbor's tree which you could grab, just leaning a bit over the railings ( ... )

Goodness, that could have been a VERY bad head injury..you got away lightly!

Yes, the contrast between "flying" and being "tethered"....intersting counterpoint, you are right!
