The visit to Hampi was undertaken as a postscript to the Daroji visit; but it is such a huge complex, that I realized very quickly that I was not going to do much more than just scratch the surface of this World Heritage Site. So here are some of the highlights of the trip ( Read more... )

Incredible! What a beautiful place....the photos really gave a sense of that. I am always amazed at how much time & effort....artwork really....went into buildings like these.

I had visited Hampi when I was a kid...loved it so much there...but never had taken much pics back then. Thanks for re-sending me thru that path. :)
