Oh...btw...just back from Lalbagh...Today we were TOO early I think..not a single SSO! The silk cotton tree has also finished flowering...so no starlings either.

Pretty! It looks like a mourning dove, only after it has finished mourning and put on bright clothes again!

That's such a happy thought...we do have one variety here called the laughing dove!

Oops! I answered this once as Wakanomori because I didn't realize it was he, not I, who was logged in! A danger of sharing the same computer...my apologies... well, as I was saying, it is a snow bunting--I saw one just twice (I think--not 100 percent sure of the ID) and loved it so much that I made the userpic (from a photo I found on Google...)
