Leaving on a 7 week trip is stressful...first I have to get the thousands of things...then I have to fit them into 2 suitcases ( Read more... )

you dirrty person, you are thinking of words rhyming with fecund...

Reminds me of the teacher's illustration of the difference between prose and verse.

She told her students, "Take this example:

'There was a lass
From Madras
Who waded into the sea up to her thighs.'

"That's prose. But if she had waded in further, that would be verse."

I am so glad that the readership of my LJ is more than 1!!

I am going to Oosa...the wedding reception for my daughter and son in law, given by her in laws, takes place in Maine on Sept 4th...then we will travel coast to coast with stops in between. Back in time for Vidya's wedding, when she will get permission (hopefully) to hold hands with Krishna!I will meet you for the lead-up preparations then.

Though I am not a monsoon person, I did miss the tropical monsoons this year. In terms of quantity of rain, I did not miss much in my current location (got much more than I wanted or liked), but it was definitely not like the tropical rains that come in style with a lot of sound and light effects. And I did miss that this year around!
