Mucho thankingso to Hari and Anu (amply aided by little, delightful Akhil) who took a LOT of trouble and lent their home, to ensure that the surprise party for my daughter and son-in-law's wedding anniversary, falling tomorrow (Jan 9th),was a great success. Happy anniversary to DnA from us. Look fwd to seeing the pics. Yes, it is nice that they have such wonderful friends who will get so involved in planning their party and really act like family. It is not easy to find friends who are warm, affectionate and genuine...it is a blessing.

It's great to have good friends out here - they become surrogate family and although they can't replace the one we left behind, they provide us with a support network, share our joys and sorrows and make life more meaningful.
