Came across this link while browsing through your blog (something I find enjoyable).
In the beginning of the article, you said "I found that I was quite inept at getting the correct words to signify the opposite of some terms...and needed to get more ept". I thought of finding out if I am quite "ept" at getting such words. However, I put a stop to the thoughts, for I feared that my attempt at verse would rather turn out to be an adverse inverse. ;o)

The storm was in the Kolkata area, that's the east of India. We live in South India...about 1500 miles away. But we will be donating to the relief fund if there is one. Seasonal droughts and floods do play havoc with our country, though certainly Bangaladesh is even worse in this respect.
