Suddenly was thinking about how life will be, a hundred years from now...and felt awed by how teeny we all are, when I realized that not only I, but all these 18 to 25 year old friends of mine too, are not going to be around! You bet!

I wish that technology doesn't change so fast

I wish it does change fast. Like how vinyl disks are still playable / 'converted' / 'remastered' and available on CDs, your livejournal entries will be available as a brain-module for the future generations, I can bet!

...and if there is a way I can keep replacing my body parts with 'better' ones, I will take back my plan of dying at 50! :D

hmmm.....remember, your brain and your mind may not age as fast as the rest of your body but they do, too...otherwise how to explain the crotchetiness, the mental rigidity and the decrepitude that set in? So you need a way to rejuvenate your brain too...

And talking of replacing parts reminds me of the antique shop which had "George Washington's actual axe (with which he cut down the famous cherry tree) for sale". On enquiry, it was found that the handle had been changed 3 times and the blade twice!

Yeah, the classic Ship of Theseus example :)

Because of certain chain of events that have occurred in the last few years I thing some HUGE changes are under way. I hope and pray that one hundred years from now will see a world at peace...okay, I know I sound like a beauty pageant contestant, but I mean it!
