Cleaning The House and Why It's So Hard!

May 14, 2009 23:03

Okay, you've all heard me chattering on about how I'm constantly cleaning house. The way I make it sound, you'd think a tornado whipped through daily, undoing my hours upon hours of menial labor put in on the weekend. Well, you're partially true. Joel and I aren't gentle on our poor, dear house. However, the biggest problem is the fact that, ( Read more... )

Isn't it the awesomest? One day I will own one. But with that price, I'm going to be saving for some time... ;-;

Just do a little a day. I am on the 30 mins a day thing myself and getting things closer and closer in the few areas I got left to clean. The storage idea is neat I will say that.

(whimper....) WANT! (clings)

I will definitely vote for you. I don't mind helping out.

On that note, Last weekend, we went through and completely overhauled Andrew's Spaer Oom. He has massive amounts of art things being an arteest (studio art major) and so we had loads of tupperware closet drawers to fill up. They were all left in dorms when people moved out, so he brought them home. He's covered half the room's wallspace and floor with dropcloths so that he can paint/draw/build/whathaveyou without messing up his apartment and voiding his deposit by dropping half a can of paint on the carpet. Having designated craft space is wonderful.

I will have one of those one day. I couldn't get to the website, how much did they run?

Between the two of us being so creative, we're going to have to have two separate work spaces/studios. If we ever have kids, they may be piled 2-3 to a room so we can have enough space to work without getting in each other's way. (i'm horrible. hah!)

Thank you so much dear! They're really useful, but a bit on the pricey side. The EZView desk is somewhere around $500 while the full WorkBox (which is HUGE) is a hefty $1,500 range. Well worth the cost, but not something purchased on a whim.

I wish I had a designated crafting area. Eventually, but not yet. Eventually. <3

You know, if I had free reign of The Original ScrapBox.com, I would probably get the knotty adder WorkBox. It would fit the best for the space I have, and give me the most storage. I like that it's a bit more streamlined than the WorkBox...

I wonder if I should get a Ribbon Box. I mean, I want to get into scrapbooking, and I figure I'll keep a lot of ribbons for that. Plus, ribbons are pretty important for seifuku. Hmmm, I wonder where the box would go on the EZView desk...
