Feeling Groovy

Actually, it's more like I'm feeling proud. I'm incredibly proud of my meager accomplishments today. I guess part of it would have to do with how much people have been recognizing some of those accomplishments lately. I've managed to tame my hair, for the most part, though one can never repair the split end damage. I've gotten several ( Read more... )

Congrats! I'm so glad that people are noticing, and more importantly, you're starting to notice! It's just not real until you start seeing the weight come off. 's teh best feeling in the world when you look at yourself one day and can say "dang. where'd it go?"

Congratulations! That's really incredible! I love my carbs so much, it's so bad :( I'd live on bread and water and be happy for a spot of butter now and then if I could. I promised myself to try to lose some weight this summer, and we'll see how that goes. But hey, congrats!! And why not just trim the split ends off? That's what I had to do with my messed-up mop of hair, lol.

Congrats! I'm glad that you're feeling better about yourself, and I hope you've been taking photos along the way. Nothing motivates you or other people quite as much as seeing the physical timeline.

If you want a weight-loss buddy, I'd be there for you. This quarter I completely dropped my exercise as I just don't have time (understandable as it's my last quarter ever, but once summer hits, I'll have the chance to get back to working out. We've got a similar weight and goal right now, so if you're interested, let me know!

I'm so glad the new diet is working out so well for you! Congratulations on being able to stick with your new system - I bet the compliments feel great after all that hard work.

I got to my heaviest last month when my grandfather passed away. Through making better food choices (not dieting really, just not scarfing chocolate when I come home, that sort of thing) and getting off my duff once in awhile, it's starting to normalize again. I love how much better I feel. It's nice to see you feeling better, too!
