I had told her that we probably weren't buying the new HP book for a while because of various stuffs. So she JUST called me and said "I wanted to let you know that I've just picked up a Harry Potter book for you." "Oh no, Gran! We already bought it!" ^^;; We charged it to Joel's credit card so that his dad's paying for it. Fortunately, she hadn't ( Read more... )

Yay spolier-free zone!

I haven't even read the first one yet :p. I have the fourth volume on-hand while I wait for the first three to arrive at my local library (yay holds). Then, depending on where I am with classes starting and all, I'll read the final three. I had hoped to finish the series before the end of July, but that deadline is likely to now be the end of August (mostly due to hold times at the library). Given that I've seen the first four movies though, not much will be spoilery for me in those books.

Wow, library for all of it? Good luck. I know that book 7 at some library around here, they ordered like 200 or 500 copies or something? And there is literally a 2-3 month long waiting list...

I hope you enjoy the books. XD

As long as it's a title carried a library in my county, they ship to and from other libraries in the state when copies become available. Also, I know for sure our local library ordered more copies after so many holds were being placed. If push comes to shove, I can buy copies of the last 1-2 volumes and resell them (unless I really like the series and invest in the other volumes).

Awww, that's a shame. I highly recommend plowing through 5 one way or the other so you can enjoy the rest. XD <3
