Really lovely, poignant story. It would be hard to watch your friends get old without you and it took some bravery for Alec to stay close to them. I sort of think Max took the cowardly way to avoid it, but I get it. I loved younger Max. That was a nice touch. Good job!

Good gracious. Sorry it took me so long to comment. This story is beyond awesomeness, and im so glad you wrote it. Totally goes in my top loved stories of dark angel. The immortality story line is really great as well. And I really like the line of him staying till she came home to him.

Woah. That was just splendid. Perfect characterization and deep thinky thoughts snuggled inside a narrative worthy of a reunion movie. And, plenty of the multilayered, rather amazing Alec. I only wish there'd been more Joshua the free, accepted artist. You even made me genuinely like Max! *ducks head* Thank you for time well spent this afternoon.
