So I'm currently taking part in this fanfic competition (it's in Russian though, so I'm not going to link it) and at first it was fun and games and now it is deadlines and no feedback and I don't want to do it anymore

What kind of fanfic are you writing? Man, I know the feeling of having to work on something fandom-related, and spending your own free- and sleeping-time, and then be dead-tired at work/school orz Sometimes, I think we're crazy...I wish you good luck!

Hmmm, yeah, it's a pity but stargazing is pretty much impossible in cities :( I was with my sister at my granmother's place last weekend, and she lives in the middle of nowhere, pretty much, so there are only a few street lamps here and there. You can see the stars and the galaxy perfectly. It would be even better if we went to the seashore, I guess, there are even less lights there.

It's like a multipart contest - first you write some drabbles, then some fic over 1000 words, and now fic over 4000 words and I was already pretty much done with it at 1000, but I promised that I would write a 4000 word fic too XDD Yeah, fandom is a crazy thing XD I wish I had that much enthusiasm for my actual work XDD Thank you for the well-wishes :)

Thanks :D Yeah, I can :D But actually, if the original video quality is bad, the TV will not fix it and magically make it look good like I imagined it would do XDD

Wow, stargazing at the seashore, that sounds so beautiful! I kind of want to do that, but there is no sea here, just a river, and it's full of container ships XD

Yeah, I can understand that...the good thing is that lately, more and more videos are being uploaded in 1080p, so hopefully they should be viewable even on a large screen.

It's good because there are no lights at all near the beach, so you can see the stars very well.

Well, it is a sort of team contests, and everyone on the team writes their fics as well, so I guess I don't want to let the team down and it motivates me to write, but at the same time, I'm the worst writer out of all the team, so I'm not sure I'm even helping them XDD Oh well, it will be an interesting experience, at least.

Yeah, the newer anime, for example, looks pretty nice there :D

Wow, I totally want to watch stars on a beach now... I'll write it on my list of things to do before I die XD

I can relate on that fanfic thing; I'm very slow and lazy when it comes to writing I usually end up writing a couple of sentences each day. I would pretty much fail at any writing competition that's for sure. And yay for new TV set! I sure was happy when I got mine a couple of months ago, though I did not get one of those smart TVs cause I will not use the TV to access the Internet. xD
