I wrapped up season three of Friday Night Lights last night. It made me laugh and cry, bite my tongue, curse! Season three was AMAZING.

Every time I think about FNL, I can't get over how much I love and admire the characters as if they were real. It's beyond any other show on tv, really.

I couldn't agree more. There is so much depth to these characters and FNL reminds me why I even love television in the first place.

It has been amazing, right??? I told you already I never expected to love Tim/Lyla so much. Separately they are not my fav characters on this show (Coach and Mrs Coach own my heart!) but together they are wonderful. They are sexy, dedicated and they give and teach each other so much.

I was perfectly happy with the way they handled Matt and Julie. As much as I hated them breaking up in S2, they needed to mature and slowly find their way back together, they needed to understand what they meant to each other.

Smash, oh God. I cried SO much when he was leaving and they were tears of pure joy, because I was so happy he freaking made it, and tears of sadness because damn, I missed him so much already. He was such a great character <3 ( ... )

Amazing is an understatement, seriously! But yeah, I think the fact that Tim/Lyla work so well together earned their spot on this list. Tami and Eric are my 1 and 2 respectively (those were the obvious ones). The other characters kind of had to earn my love, you know. They've all done stupid things, but I measured how well they dealt with it. I really wanted to add Smash and Tyra to this list, but alas ( ... )

I hope you like S4! I have to say I was a little hesitant at first too but I ended up loving it, of course. This show can do NO wrong in my opinion, it'll always be perfect <3
And there is this one Tim/Lyla scene which KILLS me with how perfect and heartbreaking and beautiful it is. You'll see!

Hey, if you're ever up for it, we could put together a group of 4-5 people (mutual friends or not) with similar interests and start a gmail thread. - I'd so love that! :D How to do it? lol

Oh god, I'm onto 4x09 now, and s4 is some pretty heavy stuff! And yeah, that Tim/Lyla scene you mentioned killed me too! It was beautiful ;__;
