I don't watch the show but I feel really badly for the fandom. So many people are very unhappy and they're getting double-whammied with the fallout in H50, too.
It's not...I don't know, I've heard the moaning from both fandoms - and I don't really agree with it, to be honest. The fact that I don't like what particular characters are doing doesn't mean I don't trust where the show is going.
Like on White Collar it's fascinating from a plot point of view to see Neal in a position where he can't resist temptation and how quickly and easily he slips back into his old ways. It's painful from a fan POV to see him lying to people he's come to care about and how little that seems to bother him - but this is who Neal is. If people have forgotten that, you know, CON MAN, that's their issue. I think a lot of the fandom moaning is about the Nazi loot too, and how Neal and Mozzi are profiting from the Holocaust - and again, this is a very grey area, and if Neal isn't living up to our expectations that's fascinating from a certain POV. Why would we expect Neal to have those kind of morals? CON MAN

Long story short, Neal gets involved with tracking down his old mentor, who is out for revenge on Neal. Mentor has discovered a lost Nazi sub filled with looted artworks and treasures, blah blah blah - Mozzie steals the loot, mentor is killed (by Peter) as he's trying to kill Neal, the FBI think the loot is destroyed, but Mozzie has it as his and Neal's last big score. Mozzie and Neal are trying to get it out of the country and/or sell it, but Peter suspects Neal and Neal knows it. So you have Peter surreptiously investigating Neal, and Neal surreptiously trying to figure out what Peter and the FBI know in order to remain undetected. He's lying to everyone and it's quite to see the trust between Peter and Neal eroded to such an extent

Ugh, new opening credits are so annoying. I don't know if you ever watch Alias, but they had an awesome opening sequence - suited the show perfectly. And then in season five (the last season, I wonder why) they murdered it.
