oh I am SOOOO glad you got it!!!! Hooray for the international postal services!!!! hahaha well you said you wanted Jolly Ranchers :) The guy at the UPS store kinda gave me a funny look and I was like "they don't sell them over there so this is her present" I think he still thought I was nuts but oh well! I hope you enjoy the little buggers...it was hard looking at that bag sitting there for a week and not eating them myself but I managed. So very glad you got them, that was quick too, only took a week. Merry Christmas darlin!

I only heard about John Spencer in your post. I lack information - I wasn't watching news in the Caribbean - or much since I got home for that matter. Would be glad of some sort of update.

There's not much to say really. It was on the news that he died in hospital sometime yesterday of a heart atack. It's just so sad. He was only 58 and that's not old, not these days.

Thank you. I am so sad - another of my flist sent me the info too. As I told her, I regarded him as a father figure and as something fixed in my life - and now I find he was younger than me and he's died. I feel for his family and colleagues - he seemed such a thoroughly nice person.
