I don't know, it's worth watching if only for the sheer volume of digs at CBS that the writers got in there - forcing JJ to leave, her comment about how there's 'plenty of big strong men' still around', Hotch's comment about 'the brass taking power away because it makes them feel like they're in charge', saying JJ can't be replaced - I'm surprised that stuff all got through. The whole thing was really as much as about AJ as it was JJ.
THEY MADE ME CRY. I bet Kirsten's sobbing after JJ left her office wasn't faked or anything. I probably wouldn't have been able to do the scene at all.
At least the writers got to give JJ and proper send off, unlike Stella on CSI: NY. >(
There was a brief mention. Lindsey received a present from Stella which included a letter that mentioned that Stella was head of the CSI lab in New Orleans. The voice-over reading the letter was Lindsey, not Stella. That, plus Mac inquiring after Stella a little while later, was the only mention of why Stella left.
Yeah, me and CSI:NY are done professionally, after this whole thing with Stella. She was my favourite character. And I mean, she and Mac are best friends, like she'd really just decamp to New Orleans and he'd have to find out from Lindsey. Seriously? They couldn't even have come up with a half-believable reason for her leaving?
Nah, I'm done with that show now. I was getting bored with it for a while - Gary Sinise was the only reason, other than Melina, that I was still watching.

Nah, I'm done with that show now. I was getting bored with it for a while - Gary Sinise was the only reason, other than Melina, that I was still watching.
