Not that I want to. Cry, that is. I'm in a perfectly fine mood. Bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy fun fun fun fun fun, as Tigger would say. No, I was thinking about TV shows that make me cry

Oh man, it seems like Who's goal is turn me into a giant sobbing wreck. Like oh my God, the scene in End of Time where Ten meets Rose for his last time and her first time and aaaaah aaaah aaaah my HEART. I don't even really ship Ten/Rose that much (or that's what I keep telling myself, anyway) but oh my god i was SOBBING SO HARD at that.
But I'm just like you, I'm a giant sap about TV shows.
I only watched the last season two weeks ago. At the time I just couldn't do it. And then over the years I just sort of forgot how bloody brilliant the show was and how much I loved it. Then, two weeks ago I finally managed to get around to buying the final season on dvd and I sat through the whole thing in five days. It broke my heart all over again.
Then I had to go and watch the first two seasons again (they're the only other ones I have with me here) and there was Mrs Landingham's death. That broke me all over again - again! I think the bit that got me most about that one was Leo's reaction. He's heart broken because he's know her for years and years as well, but also because he knows what it's going to do to Jed. It's like a punch in the gut. Oh John Spencer, how we loved thee...
There have been some shows/scenes within shows that have made me cry, but the one that stands out the most is one that I knew would be sad, and that since I knew it was coming, it wouldn't hit me all that hard. Boromir dying in The Fellowship of the Ring. I've read that passage numerous times, knew it was coming, and yet when I first saw the movie, I had tears streaming down my cheeks (as opposed to it just bringing tears to my eyes). Even now, after having seen that movie so many times, I still shed a tear when he dies.
