I really need to catch up with my TV...

The new series of Leverage has started and I haven't even finished watching the last series yet! *heaadesk* And I'm still not caught up with NCIS, CSI NY or Fringe either.

I blame The Magnificent Seven. It's eaten my brain. And stolen my heart.

It's not been great, has it? To be honest I've enjoyed NCIS LA more this season, I think - NCIS has lost its way a little. Too much Tony and Ziva, too much of the Evil Lawyer Lady, and not enough Abby or Ducky.

Mag 7 has that effect! LOL - oh man, Fringe was AWESOME this season and watched the new season opener for Leverage last Sunday - WOW! Fringe happens to be my new obsession. But I still LOVE Mag 7!!

I love Fringe and this season has been awesome, but for some reason I just haven' got around to watching the final two-parter. I will eventually, probably just in time for the new season, knowing me!

yeah, M7 is that way - I have other shows I watch and love (Leverage, which is good, but do catch up on the end of season 2 for the new season to make sense, Justified, Sons of Anarchy, et cetera) but M7 has something to it that makes me want to play in its sandbox. I love the characters in all of the others, but there's something about the chemistry of the M7 characters that compels me to write them. Even and often while I"m watching the others.

I've never written as much fic in my life as I have for this show, which is something new in and of itself. This show just grabs hold of you and will not let go. I still can't understand how it got cancelled. *sighs*

Yeah, I know the feeling. I'm very new to Magnificent 7 after being involved in several other fandoms. In fact, I've let stories slide because I can't seem to get Mag 7 out of my head. *facepalm* I haven't written anything yet, but the pull is getting stronger everyday. There's such something about the show and the relationships between the main characters.

Okay, so, yeah... Sorry about the hijack on your journal! *waves*

There's just something about this show that just takes up residence inside your head and your heart and will not let go. I hadn't written fic for years before this show and now I can't seem to stop! I've written seven fics in less than a month, which is a record for me.

And all those extra LJ userpics came along at the right time too, because M7 is taking over my icons too!

Yes, I know how you feel. It's great that new authors are still coming to the fandom. I have a tendency to get involved long after everyone else has moved on.

That's great you're writing again! I hope you continue to be inspired!
