Series finales are funny things, I think. You can't really judge them the way you can normal episodes, because there's so much emotion bound up in them. I don't think I've ever cried harder at a tv show than I did when Laura died, lol. Just thinking about it makes me tear up. ;___;

Oh, I was inconsolable. I knew it was coming, I knew she'd die, but when it happened it was so beautiful and so heartbreaking, and I just came undone.

Oh god, BSG. I loved that show way more than I thought I ever would. It hit me in weird places, like when I wasn't looking and wasn't prepared, and quite often I would sit there with my mouth open, aghast, for several minutes after the episode would end. Caprica has hit me a little like that, too, although in more deliberate areas. And it's nice to feel a reconnection to the BSG characters, even taking into consideration they're a lifetime apart.

You know, I didn't expect to cry about Laura passing and I did. I really did. And the way it all came full circle was like the clouds parting and the sun coming out. It made me smile.
