We could be heroes...

Am I confused because I've not been watching the show, or am I confused because it was confusing?

Ashes to Ashes...what in the hell? )

ships: sam/gene, tv: ashes to ashes, tv: life on mars

I think because it's Gene's show - and because he doesn't want to move on.

I think it was exactly what I thought it was when LoM ended, that the world Sam went back to was in *someone*'s head, so it really wasn't anything by now I wasn't expecting.

And it was kinda nice that they weren't bloody astronauts.....

Oh hell, that American ending still makes me *facepalm*. What were they thinking?

I think maybe I'd have liked this ending if I'd been watching A2A all the way through. I did find the end very moving, but I just don't know what to think.

I refused to watch the first series. I hated the second series. I like that this ending didn't deny or change the end of LoM....

The new guy makes me sad, because...I don't know, I feel like it makes Sam so much less important, if he's just one in a long line and the whole thing just repeats and repeats. How important are they all to Gene, Sam and Alex and Ray and Chris, if the whole thing just goes round and round and round, if they go and a new batch come in?

I think he's very much like The Doctor in a way - always dragging new companions along with him but has a special place in his hearts for certain ones (like Sarah Jayne Smith). I doubt for a second anyone could replace Sam, Alex, Ray, Chris, Shaz and Annie.

i think his moving on IS to help others? because no one protected him from that shotgun, he wants to make sure it doesnt happen again.

thats my fanon too only lol without the shagging :P as much as i love the guv, I wish life on mars had been the ending 'cause as much as i love keeley, i think they did right by making lom end with sams decision to stay because it was all about sam, whereas a2a broadened everything so much.....

idk, i just watched and am still so confused. need someone to spell everything out for me....
