Day 05 - A show you hate
I'm not sure I can think of any shows I hate. I mean, if I didn't like them to begin with I don't watch them, so it's hard to summon up enough caring to hate them. Seems to me you have to have cared about something to begin with to really hate it.
I have shows I'm bitter about, about the way they ended, about what happened to the characters, but I don't hate them. I mean, I've still never watched the finale of Star Trek Voyager just because I was so pissed about the way they twisted Janeway's character, the way they invented a romance between Seven and Chakotay just to shut up Robert Beltran's whining, the way they absolutely screwed over Kes' character for absolutely no reason at all. I'm still pissed about those things because I loved that show. I think the first fanfic I ever read was Janeway/Chakotay and I still love that ship.
Or then there's Torchwood. Yeah. I'm angry about that. Not with the show, per se, but RTD and what he did to the show, and then the way he reacted when the fans didn't fall in line and worship the ground he walks on, when they actually dared to say 'we don't like what you did'. I love Torchwood but I will not be watching it again.
So, yeah, shows that I'm bitter about, but there's nothing I out and out hate. Now, if we're talking movies or books, that's another story. *coughs*Twilight*coughs*
