Okay, so I did see Doctor Who at my aunt's yesterday...

Mainly because my aunt refused to take 'no' for an answer, sat me down in front of the TV and insisted I watch it because she wanted to know what I thought of it. Hee. I love my geeky family.

( So, I will have longer thoughts later (but don't worry, I liked it) but there were two things I liked best, and they both revolve around Eight. )

The entire fricken episode had shoutouts to so many different doctors - the "Carrots?! Are you trying to poison me?!" refered to something Six said, then Amy used a cricket bat (which The Doctor found amusing) to knock Eleven out. Oh Moffat!

OT: What...wait...what?! Only 10 minutes in and Man Utd are already 2-0 up and 3-2 up on agg? My god, what pep talk sis SAF give them?!

And then they nearly got another goal just now. Right on Man Utd! I'm still wtf-ing over Rooney being on the pitch. I thought he wasn't due back on for 2-3 weeks?

So did I. So did everyone. Either Fergie's been lying through his teeth, Rooney is Wolverine in disguise and has miraculous healing powers, or Fergie's taking one hell of a risk. Whichever it is, it's paying off!
