I guess there could be a reason, but I'm starting to resign myself to the fact that I've probably not got it. *shrugs* Not the end of the world, I guess, but I can't deny I'm disappointed. I would have liked that job ( Read more... )

Well it could mean a couple of things...1. they got caught up with something else and didn't get to make the calls as planned or 2. They offered it to some one else but you are their number 2 choice so they won't call you until they know if the first choice is going to accept or turn it down since if they turn it down then the offer will come to you. Either way I think there is still some room for hope! I'll still keep my fingers crossed!!!! :)

Yeah, I guess. I was the No. 2 choice for the last job I went for, so it'd really suck if I was No. 2 again! I know it's better than just being rejected out of hand, but it's so close and yet so far!

Oh no, that was the Bodleian I was talking about - Oxford University's main library, one of the oldest and biggest in the world. No, St Clare's I really liked!
