I still haven't heard from the university officially, but I emailed my tutor to see if she knew anything and she emailed back this morning to let me know that whilst my mark wasn't being rounded up (69.94% - wtf?!) I was being awarded a distinction by the Review Board ( Read more... )

Hehehe, you and me both. My first one is in an envelope with my GCSE and A-level certificates stuffed down the side of my PC!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wishes I could be at the ceremony so I could holler embarrassingly and make you cringe up on stage in front of hundreds. That's what we did to my mum for all her degrees, hehheh. Er, that's assuming you have that style of convocation, I know nothing. But still!

Best story ever: at one of my mum's convocations (she's had so many, I can't remember which one!), one graduated received a Great Distinction and you could clearly hear his kid yell 'Great Distinction?! GROSS!' It was pretty much the best thing ever.

I'm not actually going to the graduation ceremony - can't be bothered, in all honesty, and since I've done it once before it's not as big a deal as it would otherwise have been. So you couldn't embarrass me at it even if you tried! LOL!

Icon love!
