And now the Prime Minister has resigned. I didn't like Cameron, didn't vote for him, but...shitting fuck, all this change, all this upheaval and uncertainty. I feel sick for my country and our future right now.

Can I go back to bed and when I wake up this will all have been a horrible, horrible dream?

Considering that he was the one who brought the referendum to the people, I don't think he should have resigned. After all, surely that's what we look for in a leader.

Maybe those vote remain leaflets have lost his voter base and the party wanted him out.

(And, yeah, I'm also really unsettled. I wish this whole thing had never happened.)
