I am so not ready for this to be over. Especially since I have this awful feeling that it'll be a 'rocks fall, everybody dies' kind of episode. Or somehow everybody but Fusco. Either way, I don't see this ending well

It's such a smart, well acted, well written and thought provoking show I want it to go on and on and on. I may have to start reading the fanfiction to fill the gap it's going to leave. Ugh, I'm going to miss this show.
I go through phases with PoI fanfiction where I'm all into it and then not so much. Earlier in the show's run I totally shipped Reese/Finch, then Root/Shaw took over my attention (*sobs*) and now I'm sort of back to Reese and Finch.
I think when it's done next week I may need to go back and re-watch it all. I'm just fascinated by how this show evolved, when you compare it shows that are always always the same, like NCIS etc.
I don't think I've ever been this sad to see a show end. Usually, by the time my favorite shows end, they are well pass their peak, but POI has such a strong cast, and I still feel like there's so many stories left to tell. I still think it's one of the most underrated TV shows on American TV.
Yeah, most shows drag on so long, or you can see that there's a finite story to tell and it comes to a close naturally. But with PoI, yeah, I think it could go longer, there's more to explore, and it's such a smart topical show, and YES, OMG, so under-rated. I'm not ready for it to end!
It's such a great show and I will miss it badly! First season was perfectly OK, but I thought it really sparked in season 2. I've also enjoyed how so many of the major players have been women.
