I love Peter Hollen's covers. He has a lovely voice there are times when I also prefer his versions to the originals, as well. ♥

I just love cover versions where they actually do something different with the song - rather than just singing it exactly the same as the original. What's the point of that? If you're gonna sing it straight, then I might as well listen to the original, you know?

True. I don't usually mind it when people sing it straight, but when there's something different it's a bit more memorable and it means you've taken something and tweaked it to make it your own while covering something. Like, for me I much prefer Pentatonix and Lindsey Stirling's version of "Radioactive" than the original, because it's combining their talents to create something unique than just someone singing a song the exact same way as the original artist.
