Things I discovered today on Twitter:

The tune of the American national anthem was borrowed from a British drinking song that celebrated the goddess Venus' clitoris.

Well, according to Wikipedia, it's based on a song called The Anacreontic Song, which does indeed refer to the 'Myrtle of Venus' - such a chaste description...
