Which movie has the most Knights/Dames in it? Yes, these are the things that occur to me when I'm on lates at work and it's quiet.

It has to be Lord of the Rings, right? Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Christopher Lee and Sir Ian Holm. The X-Men movies have two, with Sir Ian McKellen and Sir Patrick Stewart...

Although, Harry Potter, how many do you have? ( Read more... )

movies: lord of the rings, movies: harry potter, movies: x-men

Branagh's Henry V has three (Branagh himself, Dench, and Holm), plus Paul Scofield who turned down a knighthood on several occasions. Oh, and Derek Jacobi, which makes four!

Ah, but were they knights at the time? Branagh wasn't knighted until 2012, Ian Holm in 1998 and Derek Jacobi in 1994. So none of them were knights at the time...

By that measure, it would be The Hobbit, since Sir Christopher Lee wasn't knighted until 2009.

And long overdue it was too! But good point, I'd forgotten he wasn't when they were filming LotR.
