Here's a show I don't talk about all that often...

Hawaii Five-0. It's a goofy-ass show with some seriously problematic writing and a pretty low intellectual level, but eh, let's face it, I'm only watching for Alex O'Loughlin and the McDanno.

And on that note, where is Scott Caan this season? I think I just watched the second episode with no Danny at all, and he's been pretty scarce in a number of ( Read more... )

What episode are you talking about? Just asking because the last one that aired here (Jan 31) was Danny filled. The one before it not so much and then the one before that had a lot of him too. Trying to figure out where you are in the season.

I know sometimes it's not that they don't know about the filming schedule, but if they're doing a special project they'll ask for certain time off or the head honchos will try to save money by not having all the main characters in every episode.

Just watched 4x14 - the one about Chin's father's murder. No Danny at all, and no explanation for where he was.

Ok yeah that's the second to last episode. I assumed when watching he wasn't in it since they were talking about time when Danny wasn't on the island yet. I get your point though that they should have at least mentioned why he wasn't there.

Yeah, the flasback stuff was 15 years ago, before he was in Hawaii, but he should at least have been around for the action 5 days ago! And yet...no Danny. :(

I watch the show for Chin Ho Kelly only. He has the best arcs! I loved the truth behind the stolen money arc in S1!

He is probably sick of the crap writing and is distancing himself. I know Alex signed up for 6? years, but I dunno about Scott. I just skim the eps now for McDanno tidbits because I really don't give a darn about Catherine or Grover.

One of Scotts plays went up in LA, and he was down there for that. I do get the feeling that he's ready to go home to LA, which is a shame, since I too watch the show for McDanno ( ... )
