I've been listening to the radio coverage! They quoted one of my tweets on the air.

SO EXCITING. I don't even have strong feelings about Richard III, but PLANTAGENETS. KINGSHIP. ROYAL FUNERALS (they actually had the bishop of Leicester talking about that on the radio earlier).

Even if I didn't have strong feelings about Richard III (which I obviously do) I'd still be excited because...well, it's history, isn't it? Right here, live and relevant. History unfolding before our eyes. How can people not be excited by that? This man died over 500 years ago, and we've finally found him. History being rewritten, it's epic!

It really is. I hope you get to go to the reinterral, whenever/wherever it is, because that would be amazing. (And I can only imagine what this news is like for a Ricardian; a couple of years ago someone turned up some drawings of Richard II's bones from his exhumation in 1870 and even that made me weepy!)

Hi! This really is so exciting! It's good to see someone else who feels the same way!

What a fantastic thing it would be to attend the re-interment wherever it might be. I hope that if you do get to attend, you will write about it in your journal.
