PIKE! PIKEPIKEPIKEPIKEPIKE! CAPTAIN PIKE!

As much as I loved the reboot (and trufax, people, I frickin' loved it - no Old Skool carping here) there was only one thing that drew me back to the cinema nine times, and that was Captain Pike.

Umm, yep? At the time I lived about 5 minutes from the cinema and I had an Unlimited card so I could go as many times as I wanted for only £15 a month. So I, uhh, did. A lot.

I miss it actually. It was handy having the cinema so close. If I was ever bored on an evening or weekend, I'd just take myself off to the cinema. I'm about half an hour away now, so it's more of a special treat than a 'ehh, what the hell'.

For me it's Ben and Karl Urban! I wonder if Ben's character's doing what he's doing for his family too, what with his "What wouldn't you do for your family?" That would be interesting.

Me too. Pike's the one I like--Bruce Greenwood's Pike that is.
Couldn't access the video here but I did see it elsewhere and I FINALLY heard Pike's voice. Would rather SEE him though.

That memorial had better not be for Pike!!!
