Poor Lewis...

I'm so angry with Maldonado, I can't speak. Lewis was on course for a podium finish, Vettel had dropped out - a perfect opportunity to make up ground in the drivers' standing, and bloody Maldonado drives him into the barriers. On the last fucking lap.

Ooh, so angry. If I were Lewis I'd be lining up to punch Maldonado. If he doesn't get a penalty for ( Read more... )

OMG IKR?! I was nervously excitedly waiting on Lewis having another go at the front and seeing if Kimi could get near Fernando, if he would have to fight off Lewis and then...bang. Maldonado is lucky that Lewis wasn't seriously hurt with the way the car lifted off and crashed into the wall D:

I'm still puzzled as to why Lewis got away with overtaking under yellows and why Kimi wasn't even investigated but hey. I will be really interested in seeing what happened to the Lotus and the RBR that just ....died. o.o

I'm really excited to think that I will be at the next race :D

You're going? Awesome! Have fun!

I hope Maldonado gets some kind of grid reduction for the next race. I'm so mad at him. He claims Lewis ran him off the track, but that doesn't excuse him coming back on the track straight into Lewis. I'd almost swear it was deliberate. Lewis has had a couple of run-ins with him this season, there's bad blood between them.

Yepyep. It is my first Grand Prix and Imma look freaking weird with a Mclaren hat and flag and a Ferrari t-shirt and I have no fucks to give on the matter :P

I would expect that he would. Lewis had the racing line so he should have waited and come on behind him. The thing is Lewis tyres were going so he had a pretty good chance to get him anyway.

They have had some run-ins but then Lewis started it all at Monaco last year. Lewis had a lot of run ins last year though. I still cringe any time him and Felipe are in the same general vicinity. But yeah, it is one thing to lose points to your own foolishness but when it is someone else it must sting so much more. :(

At least Maldonado was given a penalty that drops him out of the points, but even so. It doesn't help Lewis any. Now he's dropped to third in the drivers' standing when going into this race he was first.

Maldonado is the worst. Man, I was so steamed when that happened I got up, slammed the living room door like a total three year old and went to stand in the garden. Then I felt silly and had to come back in. But aaaaargggh. I couldn't even enjoy the consolation prize of Alonso winning which I generally enjoy.

All the harder to bear because he'd never have been battling that yob in the first place if not for yet another fucked up pit stop.

I was swearing and screaming at the screen I was so angry. And the way after the race he tried to blame it all on Hamilton! That guy has some kind of chip on his shoulder when it comes to Lewis - and I'm just glad the stewards ruled against him and gave him a penalty that drops him out of the points. Not that that helps Lewis any!

Maldonado is genuinely absolutely vile and his chip on his shoulder goes waaay beyond having a beef with Lewis. This is the man who is only still racing in F1 due to his wealthy family paying off the Monaco powers-that-be back in 2005 when he drove into a marshal under waved yellow flags, severely injuring him (I think possibly paralysing him, I'm not sure). He was initially banned from racing in Monaco for life but enough money was chucked about to reverse that. Add to that the Perez in Monaco incident and the Hamilton in Spa 2011 thing and it all adds up to someone who is literally a danger to his fellow drivers.
