My brother gave me my birthday present early today - early, because he wanted to be sure I didn't go out and buy myself one before my actual birthday.

He bought me a Kindle! I really wasn't expecting that. He's too good to me.

I'm sitting here right now uploading Sherlock fanfic to it. Books too, but mostly fanfic.

Yay!! Just save the fic in HTML format (skip the fics that have a black background or have super, super busy backgrounds) and send it to your Kindle email addy and you are good to go! Love the stuff on AO3 as it saves the best but any page that is relatively "clean" sends well.
