I'm usually very laid back. I think I must save up all my energy in any arena (including vengeance), then expend it in determined bursts once something really motivates me.
I'm not sure what it was about her conduct that really annoyed me - probably the reply to my first email, where instead of pretending she hadn't seen the 'no agencies' bit and apologising, she tried to justify ignoring it. Spamming me a second time after that was definitely a declaration of war, whether she intended it or not. :)
It's just economics. If she contacts you and you're interested, win for her. If she contacts you and she just pisses you off and wastes your time, she hasn't lost out much - she wasn't going to get your business anyway, so the fact that she's pissed you off isn't a cost for her.
