I was tagged to do this, so here it is ^__^ I'm supposed to post something that made me happy today for 8 days ;) I'll tag skycouldfall for this, because I have a feeling that she wants to do it XD I won't be so evil to tag anyone else though XD

Day 1: I think I did well at the Japanese exam XD The first part was Writing and Vocabulary and it was only 25

Dude, we totally rocked the listening part! We did the one for level 3 perfectly, too, so it's as expected of us~~ (we did have a lot of practice, after all XD)

...I have no idea about those two sentences, though. \:D/ We should've asked sensei about them. :/ Did you ask Mira and Nelly about them?

Yeah well, with listening to Japanese every day I'd be disappointed with us if we didn't do it well XD

Yeah, I asked them about the first one, they had also written "ga", but I didn't have the chance to ask about the second one...

1) ドーア　＊　あきませんでした。

You were correct :) 開く・あく is the intransitive form of "open," so it takes ga.

2) ノートは５さつ　＊　３００円です。

The correct answer is で -- を is only used after direct objects, and "be" verbs/copulas like です don't take direct objects :) "X wa #+modifier de $$$ desu" is a common construction in the language you'll see very often ^__^ such as "Shashin wa 3-mai de 500en desu"

I'm really glad I got the first one right, I spend 5 minutes wondering about it XD And I see now about the second...so does it actually mean 5 notes of 300en or?

Ahh, they won't come until the end of February XD Have you taken all of the JLPT levels?

It means 5 notebooks are 300yen :) And I've only taken JLPT2 last year. I may take 1kyuu, but I'd need to study some more XD
