holy SHIT, congrats!! god, 50k+ is a huge number.
i'd planned to tackle it this year but then gave up because i was so indecisive over how to direct the character relationships xP *sigh. maybe next time. maybe i should start a few days beforehand to lay out an actual plotline...

Thank you! It was pretty fun, but I wish I had made my account and visited the forums earlier. The people on there seem pretty cool, but I think I was avoiding the commitment, haha. What was your story about? And you should totally do it!! If you sit on it a year, you'll definitely have a lot of fodder - plus, the nice part of letting go of quality is you'll end up making a lot of gems in the rush. I really recommend the Neo2. It is literally just a word processor with a USB port. It's super light and hardy and it doesn't have games or even color. Plus its rechargeable battery lasts a million years. I never even went down to 3/4s this whole time :)

it all started with a plot bunny that kept coming back to bug me about the characters of Full Metal Panic in the setting of Pacific Rim ( ... )

aw man, i haven't seen either, although they are both already on my to-watch list. i wish i could be your bouncing wall but i don't know enough about the characters. it sounds like a really cool up for character analysis though and the part about seeing someone they really need to meet in someone else's memories is really intriguing, like, i need to get on these so i can read it when you write this.
