More About Pam

Oct 19, 2005 23:43

Wow, it’s been two weeks since I wrote. Seems like a lifetime ago. I can’t believe how hard it is to find time to write in this. So much has happened and so many things have been going on, but I know all of you have been wanting to hear the rest of what happened with Pam, so I’ll try to write about that. I wish I had time to write all the ( Read more... )

Funny, after your last entry, I was going to tell you to just do her and get it over with...

Sorry it didn't turn out well. Reminds me of a similar situation with me in school. I'll tell you about it sometime. Trust me, you're definitely better off without Psycho Bitch around.

Wow. That's quite a story! I'm sorry that happened to you. And it certainly puts my little, silly problems in perspective. Thanks for telling me about that. Glad it finally had a happy ending.

BTW, did you notice that "Pam" and "Patty" both begin with PA? LOL

i was really hoping it would end sweetly. i'm sorry that it didn't. she was probably just freaked out because of all the pressure she gets from crazy christians; imagine how hard it is to have sex when your friends are these religious fanatics, let alone have sex with someone that their creator said was not natural to be attracted to.

It sucks to think that any kind of attraction is "unnatural" whether its attraction to a man or a woman. Really, what's the difference? Maybe it's because I'm attracted to both that I can't understand, but it seems like almost the whole world fits into one camp or the other and they won't let you be in both. Like it's a war and you're a double-agent. But why should it be a war? Why can't we just have sex with who we want to have sex with? Is it a Christian thing? I don't know because I'm not a Christian.

i agree that it does suck. i think i am straight but i have not closed the book on bisexuality... i wouldn't say it's truly bi-curious though. to christians it is a world of difference. i used to be a christian but i'm not anymore. their view on it is pretty conservative based on the bible. christians are made to feel like they shouldn't want to have sex with just anyone and that they should save it for just one person, their spouse (which is why it is kind of amusing and bizarre that your roommate not only wasn't a virgin but she lied about it). i'm not saying christians are always virgins but from the sounds of it she hung out with a lot of christians and did bible study ( ... )

Thanks, Satyriasis. Actually, the test went pretty well. I wrote a good essay, I think. It's like the one thing that actually went well this week.

Denise,

I'm sorry you had to experience that, but also glad you did, because you can learn from it, and not get involved in a relationship with someone like Pam and then find out her (or his) true self. I have an ex that was truly mentally ill (bipolar), and it was one rollercoaster ride. We didn't know she had bipolar until after we were married. I feel for her, and I worry about her, but when she took off, I had to let it (and her) go. Life is much better. I'm not sure if Pam is just confused and a bit "brain-washed" by her religious right friends, or if she is truly ill, but either way, you'll be better off with her out of the picture. There are too many "normal" and good people out there to put up with that kind of behavior.
