Apparently, today is Loyalty Day in the good ol' U.S. of A. President Bush would like to ask all Americans to join him in reaffirming their loyalty this day and every day. I, on the other hand, would like all Americans to join me in asking the Administration to stop pulling this Stalinist shit. I can even make it part of the campaign:

I think I prefer Beltane, or perhaps, Floralia. Though I hear that it's also Labor Day in Singapore. I could live with that.

But Loyalty Day makes me sick to my stomach.
