The people in Firefly have such bad Chinese accents that it even bothers me. I was watching some with Nat and Ril, and even they couldn't understand it half the time.

Not deliberate, it's just that the translator was hopeless and the actors were terrible at the pronunciation. I mean, they're good otherwise, but.
