Phoebe walked into Mr. Winchester's classroom with Grams. "Mr. Winchester? I'd like you to meet my Grandmother, Penny Halliwell."
There were so many ways this meeting could go and she hoped it was one of the good ones. John Winchester knew about the evil that was out there and was teaching his students to be able to combat it. She was hoping that maybe Grams and he would be able to get along.
Grams looked around at the lesson plans on the wall. "Demon hunting?" she said, taking note of classwork. "I was wondering why you were taking a hunting class, dear."
"Demons, ghosts, undead, and whatever other monsters I've stumbled across," John said with his most charming smile. "A pleasure to meet you, Ms Halliwell."
"Am I to take it you've been open with what you are, Phoebe?" Grams said sternly. "Although in this case I might forgive you. There seems to be some potentially useful information here." She flicked her finger at one lesson plan and looked at John. "Burning the bones, that works? I've always prefered pomegranate seeds, comfry root, and a pinch of clematis seed myself."
"Burning's worked pretty much every time," John confirmed. "I've used grisgris bags and other talismans occasionally when the bones aren't easily accessible."
Phoebe nodded. "I thought that of any teacher here, Mr. Winchester needed to know the truth about why I needed to take his class and an explanation for any strange questions that I might have need to ask him."
"You don't find many mortals chasing ghosts, Mr. Winchester," Grams said. "How is it that you came to be teaching about how to vanquish demons and the like? Are there witches in your family?"
Phoebe swallowed. She never liked talking about this because she had never known her mom... and she had a lot of hate issues about wanting to find the demon who had taken her from them.
"There's a very sophisticated simulation system," John explained. "You can create pretty much any senario for the students to run through without putting them in real danger."

"He keeps a very close eye on us when we are doing the simulations, too," she said to Grams.
