King and Jarvis isn't skeezy, as I recall. It's offices and fancy furniture stores. The skeeziness is farther east, like Sherbourne.

If you were really anxious about it and/or wanted a longer walk, you could go down to Front and walk west to Union; that area of Front Street is affluent, well lit and highly populated at night because of the bar/restaurant/theatre crowds.

i just google-maps-street-viewed it for you. jarvis doesn't look too scary. i know i've walked down it during the day and there are a few unsavoury types down there, but it's also one major block east of the subway. it doesn't look too terrifying.

I google mapped it too, and it looks totally fine! I am just nervous about walking around at night when I have a vagina with me.
