Just had one of my Sims call for his dog...and outside of the room, my dad heard someone yelling something, evidently assumed it was one of us calling for him, and yelled "What??"

Best game ever.

I've been playing all different versions of The Sims for a long time now, and while I love the new stuff they keep coming up with, I'm so glad they stuck with the idea of Simglish. Not only with the speech, but they actually record different kinds of music in Simglish. I think it's genius. It really is the best game ever.

I especially love how in some of these later expansions, they've added Simglish covers of songs I've heard in real life. There's a Pussycat Dolls song in there now. It's such a trip and a half every time it plays.

I speak a bit of Simglish in real life. My mom's all, "what are you saying?", and I think she's afraid that I've gone back to a point in my life where no one could understand me (my parents said that I was around 4 when I started to talk with words they can understand, lol)

Lol, I haven't gotten that bad yet. I get songs from the radio stations stuck in my head sometimes, though.

The hubby and I break into Simlish at each other occasionally. It's kind of sad how we still understand what we're saying. XD

The first time I got a Sims game, my dad thought it was broken because what the characters were saying was nonsensical. Pfft.
