Great idea! Can you imagine if Sawyer adopted and raised himself? (How mind-boggling that would be, egads!) Thank you so much for this! :)

Ha, well, that is sort of the idea...but yeah, it's kinda brain-breaking, isn't it?

No problem, thank you for the prompt and the comment!

That's so like Sawyer, to tell himself that everything's an accident, because all his life nothing's made sense. He hates fate, he hates destiny, so he's utterly rejected it. I'd say the most powerful thing that could change that would be finding himself face to face with...himself. I like it that he has sympathy for the boy; that shows how far our self-loathing Sawyer has come since the crash. Maybe the island (and Jack) did him some good, and changed his destiny, after all. Thank you for this wonderful, thought-provoking story!

Wow, what a great idea and very well done. I almost want to see more of this -- the adventures of James and James -- and yet at the same time that is completely creepy, isn't it?

The fact that time travel opens it up for you to be adopted and raised by...yourself? Yeah, I'd say so.

Thanks for commenting :)
