BSG Icons: "Somebody owns themselves a DX7 keyboard."
Yet another random batch of icons from yours truly, this time combining Battlestar Galactica with another personal favorite of mine: Mystery Science Theater 3000.
You've probably all heard of MST3K, even if you've never seen it. (And if you haven't, you totally should.) The premise is simple: three guys watching really bad movies and making fun of them. Mercilessly.
Probably my favorite episode and IMO the best of all time is Space Mutiny (yes, I've seen Manos. Space Mutiny is EVEN WORSE). Not only is it a really, really, really crappy movie set on a spaceship, it earns extra hilarious points for blatantly ripping space footage from the original '70s Battlestar Galactica. Yes, for serious.
Needless to say, I couldn't resist pairing some of the riffs from this episode with pictures from our version of Battlestar.
I wound up with 44 total. Um. Whoops.
Anyway, there's a good chance these might only be funny to me, but I had a great time putting them together. If you've never seen Space Mutiny, I highly recommend catching up via YouTube (link to part 1 of 10). But hopefully these are worth a few lolz regardless. (If you're really wondering what the hell is up with #s 21-36, this montage will enlighten you).
