You know the two of you need to be writing a book (or have you already written one?). I really love this story. You both write action, adventure, angst and romance (and piracy yay!) so well. Looking forward to the next chapter.

You are...yep, wait for it...COMPLETELY AWESOME.

Of course, you already know what I think. Romo's eyepatch switching? Hilarious. Lee's 'I could never attack a lady'? Hilarious. The angst works, the flashbacks work, and we all know that Romo could read lovesick!Felix like a book.

It is too bad that Baltar isn't in your part until later...

Well, I got to write dream!Baltar and memory!Baltar, at least...

Why, thank you! We did come up with a lot of this stuff together, so it's reassuring to hear that it all flows together well.

And really, do you think we could let two of the coolest pirates ever (after Dread Pirate Baltar, of course) get killed? ;)

I love all the interaction between Kara and Romo in this fic. They are great together, and I wouldn't have ever thought of them interacting until this fic, but it totally makes sense. They would get a begrudging kick out of each other ( ... )

Kara and Romo are an unlikely pair, but they were also the two characters from canon that made the best pirates, in our opinion, so, well, here they are.

Your notes on Lee are very interesting. Though, actually, I am basing the characterization here on Lee "in general" rather than just season 3 Lee like you thought...he's always been very Lawful Good that way (and he's a member of Spanish Armada here, so so much for a British uniform! :P)

I can't make any promises as to his eventual fate in the story...but I will say that there is a chance we might not be done with him yet. We'll see what develops when I start writing the last part...

Great story and great chapter
I really liked how felix betrayed them because it's the right thing and then gets second thoughts 'cause he betrayed the pirates AND gaius who trusted them.
I liked your kara (in the third part),she seemed pretty much like the chara from the show.And it was nice having dee there trying to help him although she couldn't really understand felix.I can't believe you gonna end this story with the next part.That has to be a loooonnnnnggg chapter...
Will there be some Lee/Zarek? Please? Doesn't even need to be sexual...

Will there be some Lee/Zarek? Please?

Even though he was mentioned by name in this part there is, at this point in time, no plan to have Zarek make an actual appearance in the next part, sorry. Maybe if we ever write anything else set in this 'verse.
