Oh, in my mind it's one of those shows that Will Never Truly Die, much like Buffy and Xena.

...but yeah, I miss it too ;_;

I don't want to sound like a bitch, so please don't hate me, but I think something in the coding of that quizie do is screwing up my layout... any chance of a LJ cut for it too?
If no, feel free to call me a bitch (no hard feelings really) and spam away till it's 25 entries back on my flist. ;)

That's bizarre...I wonder why it's doing that? Oh well, I'll add a cut.

Awww, you are so kind. ♥
And that did the trick. I have no idea what it was. There are just some memey things that do that to my layout. I think it almost has to be a bug in the layout coding that does it, cause how else is it getting in to mess stuff up but through a code gap, but I didn't write enough of it to know how to fix it. :P

That's some great work on Jackal & Hyena's background, and it makes a lot of sense. They always did strike me as the nastiest villains on the entire show, crueller than even Demona (I imagine they'd be flattered by that description; then they'd eviscerate me).

And I loved the episode where Jackal became Cyber-Anubis! But then, anthro canids are my thing. I also loved the episode where Fox wears the Eye of Odin and turns into a werebeast. Though the writers could have explained why she lost her human reason when no one else did. Heck, the Archmage got even more intelligent with the thing!

Very good work all the way around.

"Grief" was always one my favorites, partially because Anubis has always been one of my favorite deities and partially because it was the first time the show really demonstrated that Jackal and Hyena are actually individuals instead of permanant halves of a duo.

Thanks for the compliments. Now here's hoping that all this rambling musing is actually going somewhere.

Yeah, I like Anubis too. Though I must admit to beign alightly peeved when we discover that all those deities and mythic figures are just some of Oberon and Titania's children. It was a nice way of tying everything together in the Gargoyle-verse, but I've seen too many 'everything is of the Fae' explanations in modern fantasy.

And OT but concerning Anubis, but have you ever read "Anubis: Dark Desires", as published by Radio Comix? You might like it.
