Was road trip day. We tried to make it up to RI in time for the pre-graduation dinner but didn't quite make it thanks to getting stuck in traffic driving through NYC

So I guess you and Dar are friends again? How did that get patched up, after the whole girlfriend-blood incident?

I think I got over being angry 3 or 4 days later and basically demanded an explanation, which he supplied. It wasn't a great explanation nor did it justify the skanky-ness of her actions but I could understand why he didn't tell me before he left. Once I got that he understood that it wasn't his fault (I felt he was taking all the blame) I forgave him pretty quickly. He ended up breaking up with the above skank this past end of June/beginning of July.
Also we've been friends since I was a Junior and he was a Sophomore in high school. And he still needs unconditional love from somewhere even if it is my brand of 'tough bitchy but well meaning' love.

Haha, well... that's good then. I'm glad things were smoothed over (and that he's not with the dirty girl anymore)!
