One afternoon, I lied on my bed and watched the dust float in the bands of light coming through the window blinds. I read the one page from Peter Pan I scotch taped to the ceiling. Such a familiar paragraph by now. I let my head hang off the side so my hair would fall down plumb vertical. For a while, I felt that nameless emotion that comes from songs and filtered sunlight. Then I grew tired and fell asleep.
